UGC ads for your app
at the volume winners take.

Only 4–8% of creatives ever become winners, so finding one is a volume problem. AppCut generates real UGC-style ads from your store listing and your own footage — as many as testing actually needs.

Your first two clips are free. Early access, onboarded in small groups. No card required.

What this is
01 / 09

73%

of people say they would stop and look at an ad with audio on TikTok — a higher share than on any other platform.

Street interview

A reporter stops someone on the street and they pull the app up on their own phone. The format opens on a real place and a real stranger, so nothing about the first second looks like an ad.

Built and optimized for

  • TikTok

9:16, sound-on, hook in the first seconds

  • Meta

    Reels and Stories placements

  • Google Ads

    App campaigns, portrait video

  • YouTube Shorts

    Vertical, caption-safe framing

Tuned for these, not limited to them. Clips default to vertical 9:16 and safe-zone aware, so captions and platform UI never cover the moment your app appears — and square 1:1 and horizontal 16:9 are there when a placement wants them. AppCut is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these platforms.

Creative fatigue

Winners are rare. That makes this a volume problem.

Every creative decays. The industry answer is to keep feeding the auction — but at a ~5% win rate you need roughly 20 creatives to reliably find one winner, and sustaining four concurrent winners works out at about 87 a month. Top-quartile advertisers ship 53+ every week.

Motion 2026 Creative Benchmarks

Larger advertisers win more often specifically because they launch more variation. AI adoption doesn't raise the hit rate — it lowers the cost per variation. The binding constraint is production capacity, not creative judgment.

The platform

A store link in. A tested batch out.

Ingest

Your actual listing, not a questionnaire.

An App Store or Google Play link is all we need. AppCut pulls the real screenshots, description and category — and whether it's a game — so everything downstream is grounded in your app rather than a guess about it.

Built for games — and for everything else.

Games get formats built around real gameplay, composited from your own recording. Everything else works from the store listing alone — a bank, a marketplace and a hiking app are all first-class here.

Games

Your own gameplay recording is composited in after generation, so the board on screen is the real one — never a model's idea of it.

Questions

Before you start.

What is AppCut?

AppCut generates UGC-style video ads for mobile apps and games. You paste your App Store or Google Play link, and it produces a batch of video ads written from your real listing — the actual screenshots, description and category — in nine different ad formats.

How does it work?

Four steps. You paste a store link and AppCut reads the listing. You set the direction — audience, platform, length and which formats to run. It generates a batch, each clip with its own script written against your real copy. You review the results, keep what works and regenerate the near-misses on their own.

Do I need to upload my own footage?

Not for most formats. Five of the nine are built entirely from your store listing and need nothing uploaded. The four gameplay formats composite a screen recording you supply, so those need one.

Does AppCut work for apps that aren't games?

Yes. Five of the nine formats need only your store listing, so they work for a bank, a marketplace, a hiking app or anything else. The four formats built around real gameplay are offered only to apps the store lists as games.

Which platforms are the ads made for?

TikTok, Meta Reels and Stories, Google Ads app campaigns, and YouTube Shorts. Those are what the output is tuned for, not a limit on it: clips default to vertical 9:16 and safe-zone aware, so captions and platform UI never cover the moment your app appears, and you can also generate square 1:1 or horizontal 16:9 for placements that want them.

Do the ads come with captions?

Yes, and they are on by default. Every clip is transcribed from its own audio with word-level timing, so the captions match what the presenter actually says rather than the script they were given. They sit clear of the space TikTok and Meta reserve for their own caption and CTA, so the platform's interface never covers them. Captions are added when you download rather than baked in during generation, which means turning them off is one click and costs nothing — the same clip can run captioned and clean as two creatives. You can also download a .srt sidecar if you would rather caption inside the ad platform.

How long are the ads?

25 seconds by default, and you can choose 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds. Clips render at 480p by default or 720p, and longer or higher-resolution clips draw more credits.

How much does AppCut cost?

Plans start at $39 a month. Each plan is a monthly pool of credits: $39 covers 5 clips, $75 covers 10 and $125 covers 20, at the default 25 seconds and 480p. Every plan includes all nine formats, every control and as many team members as you like — the tiers differ only in how many clips you can generate.

What happens if a clip fails to generate?

Nothing is charged for it. Credits are held when a batch starts and only taken when a clip finishes, so anything that fails releases its hold back to your balance.

Can I try it now?

Yes. Create an account and your first two clips are free — no card, no call. We open new accounts in small batches so we can watch output quality closely; if a batch is full when you arrive, join the waitlist and you'll be let in with the next one.
